With humans consuming so much of farm animal production, such as meat, dairy, eggs, and so on, nobody wants to think about the conditions these animals live in. Animals kept in these farms are often just a hair away from animal cruelty cases, with their living conditions being the bare minimum requirements to keep them alive. It’s the same for some companion animals purchased purely for human entertainment or wild animals shot for sport.
Now, imagine a parallel universe where domestic animals are the dominant species, and they treat us like the human race treats them. Pretty scary thought, right? Well, that’s the theme of this shocking series of illustrations designed to get the issue of animal abuse in the spotlight.
Compiled by A&D, the list features many animal rights scenarios we can probably relate to. The only difference is the humans and animals have been reversed. Some of the illustrations are pretty gruesome, so you have been warned, but hopefully, they’ll help you to look at the subject from an entirely different perspective.
