Parametrium of Contrasts is a project completed by Geometrix Design. The futuristic design gives the room a unique touch, and the limitation of the palette to black-and-white gives it a high sense of sophistication.
Parametrium Of Contrasts By Geometrix Design:
“This project differed from the previous one as it was more complex and detailed. The wall was designed with many curves and features, making it look like a monolithic element with no space between its panels. Some of the features also serve as shelves. Because the architectonic wall is in focus, we decided to use a restrained combination of graphite grey and white. The room’s design is ultramodern, as it features a lot of curves and features. However, the room’s composition is somewhat compensated by adding a soft art deco-style bed. This bed features a high head and a soft and warm feel.
The soft cloth of the curtains and bed cover supports the balance of materials.
At the entrance, you will notice a mirror cube on the right. This is a decoy, but the client wanted a full-scale walk-in closet in the room. To achieve this, the space was allocated with mirrors, which help retain the room’s dimensions and provide light from the window. A mirror is a must-have in any room with a walk-in closet.
As for the ceilings, we decided not to do anything about them. That’s why the luminaires are surface-mounted and rotatable. On the one hand, they will emphasize the complex geometry of the wall; on the other hand – they will provide perfect illumination of the room and working area when necessary”.”
