Sometimes a roof makes all the difference. The Pequod tiny house is the latest micro design for a family of four. The house has a wavy shaped ceiling allowing for maximum height where needed. The top of the home has two lofted bedrooms that connect through a catwalk made of plexiglass. The house itself measures 26 feet tall, 8.5 feet wide and13.5 feet tall.
The wavy roof makes the outside look like a “whimsical” caravan. Everything in the home is used thought out to maximize living space. The perfect nest for an adventurous family.
The curved roof adds “4 in height.
The kitchen has a full refrigerator and freezer.
The sink has a cover that can be used for extra counter-top space.
A pull-out cupboard with mason jars keeping everything easy to see and find.
Additional counter space.
It can be pulled out for dining for two.
When the kids are home up to four people can enjoy a meal together.
It can easily be put back. The boxed seats also serve as storage.
Stairs double its purpose with storage space.
A family closet. The top bar allows for a curtain for privacy.
For a family of four, a full sized washing machine is in need. There is more closet space.
A garden window in the bathroom.
A king sized bed fits in the top loft. The raised rooftop gives more head space.
The kids’ room.
The two rooms are connected by a plexiglass catwalk.
The home does not feel cramped and there is plenty of natural light.
The Pequod is the perfect nest for an adventurous family.
These four couples took the tiny house movement to the next level.
