Looking at these lush succulent desserts, anyone could easily mistake them as real when the lush succulent plants are made from butter! The talent behind designing these stunning succulent cakes lies in the artist Ivenoven, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
“My baking passion and journey started one fine day when I was sneaking around in my godmother’s house trying to look for her baking recipes,” writes the cake artist on her Facebook page. She started baking for other people in December 2013, and since then, her bakery has grown from just her and her husband to a small business of 12 talented bakers.
The beautiful designs of these lush succulent terrariums are made using butter, powdered sugar, food coloring, and some additional flavoring, all of which give them that velvet-smooth texture.
